We were on station with our DJI Mavic 3T within 2 hours of the dog going missing. The dog had run off into a swampy area behind the owner’s home and the pup had some serious medical issues. With night falling and cold weather, we did not think the dog would survive the night out. On the first flight, the dog was located and rescued by the owners just a few hundred feet behind the home. This is a literal best-case scenario for the use and deployment of a Thermal Drone in Animal Rescue.
